Session Topics We’re still working on the details of the 3D Basecamp program, but here’s an overview of what you can expect: Documentation and Presentation with LayOut Working with Huge Models Photorealistic Rendering Beginner Training & Intermediate Training Visualization & Illustration Expert Tips & Tricks Using Ruby to develop extensions Building Models for 3D Printing & CNC Working with Point Cloud Data Using Extensions and Ruby Scripts Integration with other Trimble Buildings products SketchUp Pro in BIM workflows Features in SketchUp Pro 2014 Using the 3D Warehouse as a tool for marketing Depending on attendee demographics, we’re also organizing some general topics into tracks or sets of sessions for the following audiences: Focus on Architecture & Design Focus on Landscape Architecture Focus on Construction Focus on Film & Stage Focus on Concept Art Focus on Woodworking Focus on Interior Design Focus on Engineering Focus on Education Focus on Makers Have an idea for a session topic that isn’t listed above? Session Formats With a variety of spaces available to us at the event venue, there will be different kinds of sessions at Basecamp: Presentations are pre-arranged lectures and demonstrations by experts. Follow-along participation is optional. Workshops involve smaller groups of people, are generally longer, and involve hands-on participation. Activities are fully participatory sessions; there’s less talking and more doing. Maybe we’ll build something. Unconference sessions are discussions and/or demonstrations that aren’t planned before the event.
